There is no information about where in Bangor it will be. I will try to get that out VERY soon.

Other notes: We are starting to venture into merchandising! We will be coming out with polos, jackets, hats, whatever! Well, almost whatever, not sure if golf balls would be a big hit...

Hyannis has come and gone and once again the folks that make up the NASMC AMAZE me! 15 units this year! I can't wait until next year but boy does that mean a bunch of work to come. However, I know that the nominated officer group is ready for the challenge and with the list of ideas to implement - we will be ready.

In the next few days the scores will be posted for you. Also within the next few days I hope to collect photos from everyone that was there so that we may share them out. To start things off here is a link to some that were taken from my camera.

Once I get back up to the Shrine to get the bag o' cones I will enter in the last of the new email addresses and send out the meeting minutes and results.

Thank you to the IASMC for putting our link up on the Imperial's site. We hope to have more content upcoming (and maybe a newer look) in the coming months for this site (nasmc.blogspot.com).

Halifax is coming soon - I will be picking up the trophies on Monday for the trip on Wednesday up North. Hopefully I will get to see a record number of competitors next weekend!!

New service for Units via the Northeast

Hey all,

The NASMC is now offering a free classifieds notification.

Does your unit/Shrine center/Shrine club have or need a service? I have figured out that we could all benefit from this. SO, as long as everyone plays nice then everyone can be a winner. Rules: honesty and integrity in all dealings, a fair price charged and a fair price given.

That's it. I can host any photos you need (hint: I can also host your pics of events too! nudge-nudge-hint-hint)

OK. I found both pins and patches. A boatload of each actually, small box of pins and I would say about 50 or so patches. Who wanted pins? Was it Kora Karts? I think so, or maybe the Log Rollers. Let me know, I've got them.

Yes, Smugmug.com is where the pictures are. Specifically, here. Also, the scoresheets are there too, as well as the rules for the International Association, which we are supposed to follow.

I do owe hardcopy results to Sam from Sphinx and I will try to get those copies out this weekend.

Well, it seems like SmugMug is going to be the place to post the pics. I'm not hapy about paying the money but the service department seems to be pretty decent and the email question turnaround is usually within 20 minutes or so.

NASMC 2006 Field days are over. The minutes have been sent out. The scoresheets have been scanned and to smugmug.

Things I forgot to include in the minutes: price for epaulet pins $10 each, price for the NASMC patches $5 each. Both in stock (I just need to find them in the basement). I'll find them now.

Howdy Nobles and Ladies!

This may not be the technically correct spot for info sharing but it might do the trick.

Please send me a note via email to let me know if you have pics of Northeast related stuff that you would like to share. The definition of "Northeast related" is extremely loose so send 'em on over. I will investigate opening a Yahoo or Picassa (Google) online photo sharing place for them. I'll inform all of you at a later time on that progress.
